Random Tidbits about This Old Man:
- I grew up in and around the chicagoland area
- was forced to take accordian lessons when I was young and now I’m scarred for life. Hey, accordian/polka music was “BIG” in the midwest. I swear!
- got my first car at 16, a beat up old grey toyota corolla hatchback
- my first job was at Baskin Robbins and I realized then that I oh so hated serving food to customers.
- love coke, can’t stand pepsi.
- I’m a huge procrastinator
- I TRY regularly to get up early to exercise but fail miserably
- I love eating out but can’t afford to do it too often
- I’m addicted to “Five Guys Burgers” even though it’s really not good for my health
- oh and I also love getting “biscuits ‘n gravy” on saturday mornings. again, oh so good but it’s oh so bad for me! I see a trend here.
- I’m inherently a packrat but I’ve run out of room to store it all
- I enjoy playing guitar. but as I grow older, I’m finding less and less time to pick up the instrument to play. I was supposed to teach my oldest son to play but found that I really don’t have the patience to teach anyone anything.
- I absolutely hate it when someone tries to tell me what to do. It doesn’t matter who you are – my father, my wife, my boss, whoever, I will do everything in my power to do the total opposite of what you just told me to do!
- I’m in debt up the wazoo. it’s scary. I guess I need to downsize and live in some shotgun shack.
