Glee – come on stop depending on autotune!

Please tell me that the oh-so-popular TV show Glee will fade away fast like that gawd awful 1990′s musical police drama Cop Rock!!???!! Come on. I tried to watch the show but I simply can’t stomach the blatant use of auto-tune all the actors’ vocals. blech. They all sound so synthetic. Do people really enjoy listening to the “robotron” vocal effects??? Can’t the producers just hire actors/actresses that can actually sing in tune without the help of heavy post-production gimmickry???
Come on, Ryan Murphy, stop perpetuating the auto-tune madness!!
It’s sad to think of all the kids growing up listening to the sound of autotune will one day think it weird or displeasing to hear real vocalists sing without the device.
