Toward what would be the end of his life, the vet asked us to medicate him before bringing him in to be seen because he'd bitten through the rubber glove of one of the technicians. His last two visits, he had to wear what we called the Hannibal Lector mask. Yes, pets can get very expensive. But it's worth it :) We had a biter, Calvin (RIP).
