Yep, most likely all the sex-ed he got in school is waaay more graphic and detailed than a parent would expect. I think hearing from parents is better, they are YOUR kids after all, not the State’s. Or at least discuss what is being taught to him so you’re in the know as well. And correct any info. Planned Parenthood is the backer on school sex-ed so you can pretty much throw away any restraint on their part. They WANT kids to be “free” and “wild”. I think my brother-in-law’s boy was younger than 12 when they had THE TALK. They had also discussed homosexuality. Yeah, fun times for parents.

I say wait til he leaves for college and let all his new friends fill him in. Oh, who am I kidding? He probably knows more right now than you know he knows. Does that make you feel better or worse?
